Welcome to the Advancing Cancer and Rural Equity (ACRE) Lab in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Iowa! The ACRE lab is directed by Dr. Whitney Zahnd in collaboration with students, staff, and faculty at the University of Iowa and beyond. 

Our mission is to advance equity in access to healthcare services, cancer care, and cancer outcomes for rural populations by conducting policy-relevant research and developing and supporting health equity scholars, advocates, and leaders.
